SELECTION PROCESS

The Award of Excellence medal is awarded annually by to one deserving member of every 4v4 to 18U team as chosen by their coaching staff.

Coaches attending Ontario Championships will receive one Award of Excellence medal in their team bag at the Ontario Championships coach check-in.

Coaches or teams may choose to recognize an athlete that displays one or more of the following characteristics:

• Dedication to the sport of volleyball
• Perseverance and commitment
• Sportsmanship and fair play, team spirit and/or leadership
• Performance and/or most improved

Coaches are encouraged to communicate to their team the reason behind their choice to recognize a particular athlete.

PRESENTATION

There will not be a formal Award of Excellence ceremony at the the Ontario Championships.

The award will be placed in the coach/team package and coaches can decide an appropriate time to present the medal to their athlete at their respective Ontario Championship.

Following the conclusion of your Ontario Championships tournament, please use the link below to submit your award winner to be posted on the website on June 24th, 2025

This submission link is for coaches or club administrators use only. If you are a parent of an award winner, please contact your athletes coach for them to fill out the submission to avoid duplication and list errors.

As this is a season ending award, no submissions received before April 4th, 2025 will be accepted.
