OVA Award of Excellence
NOMINATION PROCESS
The Award of Excellence medal is awarded annually to one member of every 4v4 Rallyball to 18U team and selection criteria varies per team. Once again, coaches attending Ontario Championships will be asked to select one (1) player from their own team to receive the OVA Award of Excellence medal. Each team will receive one Award of Excellence medal in their team bag at the Ontario Championships coach check-in.
Coaches or teams may choose to recognize an athlete that displays one or more of the following characteristics:
- Dedication to the sport of volleyball
- Perseverance and commitment
- Sportsmanship and fair play, team spirit and/or leadership
- Performance and/or most improved
Coaches are encouraged to communicate to their team the reason behind their choice to recognize a particular athlete.
All player nominations must be received by June 30th to be included in the final award listing which will be posted on the OVA website and social media on July 5th . To submit your nomination, fill out the form below.
PRESENTATION
There will not be a formal Award of Excellence ceremony at Ontario Championships.
The award will be placed in the coach/team package and coaches can decide an appropriate time to present the medal to their athlete at their respective Ontario Championship.
