It is that time of year again to put forward nominations for the upcoming Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) Hall of Fame Class. If you, or someone you know, believes that there is a person within the Ontario volleyball community whose accomplishments or contributions have been above and beyond their peers, please come forward and nominate them for the Class of 2024.

Inductees will be honoured during our 2024 Hall of Fame and Awards Banquet with an biographical article and induction video posted online. A list of previous induction classes along with their articles and videos can be found here.

Nominations can be made in six different categories. Player, Coach, Referee, Builder, Team or Furlani Legend. If you are unsure about which category the nominee best falls under, pick one that you feel fits them best and the OVA Awards Committee will change it if necessary. It is more important just to get your nomination in. All nominations are put forward to the OVA Awards Committee who will make their decisions in the new year.

A detailed description of each category and nomination forms are posted on the OVA Nominations page and forms can be sent to awards@ontariovolleyball.org. Please complete the form in full, including as much detail as possible and (if possible) contact information for the person being nominated. Deadline for nominations is the December 31, 2023, however we ask for nominations to be sent forward as soon as possible. The holiday season is busy, and nominations are often forgotten about until after the deadline.

The 2024 Hall of Fame and Awards Banquet will be held June 1st, 2024, at Angus Glenn Golf Club in Markham.
