From the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Activity:

The Women in Sport Encouragement (WISE) Fund invests in the development of female leaders in sport and supports organizations to strengthen their engagement of girls and women in sport. Since 2004, CAAWS has awarded $150,000 in grants to leaders and organizations across Canada!

Our two core areas of emphasis are: retention of girls in sport and expanding female leadership in sport. We are proud to support leaders and organizations who are taking steps to bring these goals to life.

We award 10 grants annually, each valued at $1000, through an application process.

The 2019 WISE Fund application will open on November 1st. Grant recipients will be announced in early 2019.
