OVA Beach Tour is hiring one full-time Coordinator position and multiple part-time Beach Crew positions for this summer.

Beach Tour Coordinator

This is a full-time position from May 13th to August 16, 2026.

The OVA Beach Tour is the leading beach volleyball tour in Canada. We are looking for vibrant, hard-working individuals who are keen to assist in the delivery of the OVA Beach Tour. 
Between May and August, the OVA hosts 14 weekend beach tournaments throughout Ontario including Ontario Championships & Nationals.

The Beach Tour Coordinator will split their time between the office  and the beach (Toronto and Cobourg) to ensure the OVA Beach Tour runs smoothly.

• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Lead in the organization, management and delivery of Beach Tour competitions including:
  • Develop schedules and team seedings using myteam.click online software
  • Verify, record and post results online
  • Ensure setup of event onsite (will involve physical labour)
  • Book medical staff/athletic therapists 
  • Schedule security and review all equipment is present on site
  • Arrange and organize prizing for tournament winners
  • Manage and lead the OVA Beach Crew staff members (11) at all Beach Tour stops (Toronto & Cobourg)
  • Liaise with facility staff onsite
  • Work with Head Official to ensure smooth delivery of event
  • Be the main on-site contact and Tournament Director for all participants including referees, coaches, athletes and spectators
• In conjunction with Manager of Operations, manage and adhere to policies and procedures of the OVA Beach Tour Handbook
• Communicate and work with tournament venue hosts

Beach Tour Crew - Multiple Positions

The OVA Beach Tour is the leading beach volleyball tour in Canada. We are looking for vibrant, hard-working individuals who are keen to assist in the delivery of the OVA Beach Tour. 

Between May and August, the OVA will host approximately 14 beach tournaments throughout Ontario including Ontario Championships and Nationals.

Beach Crew members help facilitate the operation of each tournament from start to finish. It is expected that OVA Beach Crew members complete all tasks as 
required to support tournament delivery, including some aspects of physical labour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and take down for tournaments, including but not limited to fixing posts, hanging volleyball nets, setting up portable net systems, setting up lines, raking sand, setting up tents, setting up 
• sound system, branding, signage, awards, etc. 
• Lifting up to 50lbs 
• Tournament Director Duties, including but not limited to managing tournament schedules and results on myteam.click, delivering players’ and playoff meetings and medal/prizes presentations 
• Monitoring and supervising courts to ensure there are no issues with players, referees and spectators
• Ensuring the safety of members 
• Liaising with onsite referees and medical staff 
• Venue & shed maintenance
• Inventory and maintenance of equipment 
• Beach clean-up
• Customer Service: For participants, parents and partners, answering questions or resolving conflicts as they occur
• Other tasks as assigned by OVA Staff and the Beach Tour Coordinator
