The Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) is pleased to share that Sport for Life has completed the Youth Competition Review and presented its final report, outlining a series of recommendations to strengthen Ontario’s youth volleyball competition structure.

This comprehensive review represents months of research and consultation with clubs, coaches, referees, parents, and athletes from across the province. The OVA extends its sincere thanks to Sport for Life for their leadership and to all members of the volleyball community who contributed their insights throughout the process.

Moving Forward: A Phased and Collaborative Implementation

With the final recommendations now in hand, the OVA’s working group has developed a phased implementation plan to guide the next steps. This approach will ensure that changes are introduced thoughtfully, with ongoing evaluation and flexibility.

Central to the process will be continued consultation and engagement with the volleyball community. Over the coming year, the OVA will work closely with clubs, coaches, referees, and other stakeholders to design and refine the next stage of youth competition in Ontario.
