Join the Oberle Family on Sunday, July 27th in Cambridge as they raise funds in support of the Dean Oberle Legacy Fund for Officials!

In memory of a cherished member of the OVA referee community Dean Oberle, who was highly active in growing the next generation of referees through the baseball and volleyball communities in Ontario.

This initiative is raising funds to help give a leg up to young officials in the community as they start their journey behind the plate or in the stand.

If you are interested in playing, please sign up using the document below.

From everyone who passed Dean along life's journey, we thank you for your generosity.

A Message From Dean Oberle Legacy Fund:

We are reaching out to request your support for the 1st Annual Dean Oberle Memorial Golf Tournament, which will be held on Sunday July 27 at the Cambridge Golf Club.

The tournament is in support of the Dean Oberle Legacy Fund, which was established to honour and celebrate Dean’s love of sport and his contributions to officiating.

There are three ways in which we will be honoring, celebrating and recognizing Dean’s impact and legacy:

  1. Dean Oberle Memorial Award
  2. Dean Oberle Development Grant
  3. Dean Oberle Memorial Scholarship

The recipients will be individuals who demonstrate a love of sport, a desire to learn and improve, a passion for mentoring and developing others skills, a commitment to teamwork and collaboration, and an optimistic attitude and positive impact on others.

We are seeking the following support:
  • Raffle Prize Donations: to be used for raffle prize draw at the tournament
  • Silent Auction Prize Donations: to be used for a silent auction at the tournament
  • Gift Card Donations: to be used for raffle / silent auction
  • Monetary Donations: to be used to purchase raffle / silent auction prizes

If you have any questions or would like to make arrangements for a donation, please contact Lori Pollice loripollice@gmail.com, or Don Oberle oberled1968@gmail.com

We are grateful for any support you can provide.

Thank you for your consideration.
