WATERLOO, ON – The first of seven highly anticipated events in the 2025 Ontario Championships concluded this weekend, setting the stage for an exciting month of fierce competition while concluding the 2024-25 campaigns for OVA 16UG and 4v4 Boys/Co-ed club teams. Held at RIM Park and Conestoga College, the event brought together over 180 club teams (156 16UG; 27 4v4 Boys/Co-ed) from across the province.

In the 16UG tournament bracket, Pakmen Gold took home the Division 1 Tier 1 (D1T1) banner, defeating the Venom Vipers in a back-and-forth three-set thriller in the Fieldhouse. The two previously faced off in the 16UG Grand Prix finals with the Vipers ultimately hoisting the trophy in that encounter.  South County Bandits National Spartans ended the season with the bronze to round out D1T1.

The 4v4 Boys/Co-ed division saw the KINETIKA Motion Yellow and Toronto Thunderbolts Smash - Shihua headline the Division 1 finals with the former taking the gold. Pakmen Bonney earned the bronze.
