Over the March Break, our volleyball community came together to support the athletes representing Ontario at the upcoming Canada Games — and the results were fantastic.

Thanks to the participation of 144 athletes, the generosity of families, and the incredible Team Ontario coaches who volunteered their time, we were able to raise $6,000 to directly support the athletes traveling to Slovenia this summer.

But it wasn’t just about raising funds — the athletes also had a top-notch on-court experience. The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. Athletes not only received high-quality coaching, but they also left with a shoulder maintenance and conditioning program, specifically designed by our Team Ontario strength coach to help them prepare for the upcoming Provincial Championships.

A huge thank you goes out to the coaches who gave their time, energy, and expertise to make this possible, and to Lauren for her outstanding work in organizing and planning the clinics.

This was a great reminder of the power of community, and how much we can accomplish when we work together.

It would also be great to name the coaches who volunteered their time: Kyle Johnston, Jenn Kelly, Brad Molnar, Jenny Pellegrino, Kathryn Jung, Jordan Timpson, Christina Stratford
