The Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) is excited to announce a Request for Proposal (RFP) for professional photographers to cover the 2025 Ontario Championships. This prestigious annual event, which celebrates volleyball excellence, will take place in Waterloo and Ottawa, bringing together thousands of athletes, coaches, and fans from across the province.
About the Event
The Ontario Championships represent the pinnacle of volleyball competition in the province, spanning multiple weekends in April 2025 across two cities:
- Waterloo at RIM Park: April 4-27, 2025
- Ottawa at the EY Centre: April 24-29, 2025
With over 1,200 teams expected to participate, the event offers a dynamic opportunity for photographers to capture high-quality team photos, action shots, and award ceremonies.
Scope of Work
The selected photographer will be designated as the Official Photographer of the 2025 Ontario Championships and will provide the following services:
- Exclusive team and action photography coverage
- Onsite presence during all competition hours, including award ceremonies
- Delivery of all event photos to the OVA within 20 days of the event’s conclusion
- Vendor booth setup to sell and distribute photos onsite
- Promotion of team photo packages through OVA’s communication channels
Vendor Benefits

- Pre-event promotion and advertisements in newsletters and emails to participating teams
Submission Details
Interested photography service providers are invited to submit a completed Photography Services Application Form with their proposals by midnight on January 15, 2025.
