The Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) is excited to announce the hiring of Taylor Callow as Beach Events Program Coordinator.
In this new role Taylor will be a vital part of the beach team as managing coordinator of beach programs at Ashbridges Bay. This will include leagues, tournaments and event along with playing a major role in Beach Ontario Championships. Throughout the winter, until athletes are back outdoors in the spring, she will be assisting the High-Performance team with their winter programming.
Taylor is a graduate of Washington State University’s (WSU) Masters of Sport Management program following her completion of University of British Columbia at Okanagan’s (UBCO) Psychology program. A site coordinator for multiple years with Volleyball BC, Taylor is already familiar with major volleyball tournaments and her more recent experience working in both the UBCO and WSU Athletics and Recreation departments will serve her well with OVA.
As a former athlete, Taylor knows all about being on the competitors’ side of competitions. A club volleyball player in her youth, Taylor would concentrate her athletic focus on softball, competing at the post-secondary level at UBCO.
We at OVA are thrilled to have Taylor join our team and are excited to see what she is capable of.
"Super excited to be apart of the team. Looking forward to seeing everyone out on the courts!" - Taylor
