Job Opportunity: Team Sport Field Specialist, Mizuno Canada

Mizuno Canada is currently hiring for a Team Sport Field Specialist.

The Team Sport Field Specialist serves as the day-to-day liaison between marketing, sales, product, and several cross-functional departments for Mizuno’s Team Sports Division.  Additionally, this role will oversee the implementation and expansion of select B2C platforms for Mizuno Canada’s Team Sports Division.

This position is hybrid job based in Mississauga Ontario and will report to Director of Sales and Marketing Team Sports Division.

  • Co-ordinate, activate and execute Mizuno’s Event servicing of selected partners mainly in Ontario.  (Includes but not limited to Provincial Volleyball partners, VBC/Swim/Diamond Events. Service entails Interface with customers, sponsored partners, consumers, team fittings, demos, working floor of retailer, attending events put on by retailer).  The work schedule will be based on need but expected that three weekends out of each month will be event or retail driven. Execution time 65%
  • Travel. Three main events, various trade shows and sales meetings. Interfacing with our dealers and consumers will be required. These events are over a week and travel to and from the event will be necessary.
  • Provide input, implement, execute and design promotional and sales activities to build Mizuno Team Sports brand equity and to fuel demand for Mizuno products with consumers and customers.
  • Assist in gathering consumer feedback on product trends and ideas during key events.
  • Assist in providing content to all Mizuno Team Sports social media channels.               
  • Work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to create elements related to product-specific marketing launches and promotions from strategy to execution.
  • Managing Key Account service calls.
  • Product Knowledge manuals and training.  Collaborate with in-store management teams to maximize sell through opportunities; increase sales associate product knowledge and selling skills through one-on-one coaching.
  • Position may be required to perform other duties as needed.



  • Interest/Passion for Sports, with emphasis on Volleyball.
  • Able to communicate openly and effectively with partners, customers, and teams.
  • Self-starter, problem solving and critical thinking.
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience with social media management copy writing/editing.
  • Ability to come up with creative sales and marketing ideas and execute to completion.
  • Valid Drivers License and transportation.
  • Team player.
