The Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) joins the London sporting community in mourning the passing of OVA Hall of Fame Member, Vaughan Peckham.

Born in 1946, Vaughan was a pillar of London volleyball. He was an athlete, coach, administrator and an ever present figure in the high-school and club systems.

As an athlete he captained the Western Mustangs to two OUAA titles in the 1960s, before returning as a coach from 1978-1985 for another three titles.

At the club level, Vaughan and his wife Jane were instrumental in the growth of volleyball in London with their tireless efforts in the foundation of Forest City Volleyball Club in 1992.

For all their efforts, Vaughan and Jane were inducted into the OVA Hall of Fame as Builders in 2018.

The OVA would like to pass on our condolences to Jane, and the family and friends of Vaughan in this difficult time.
