The OVA is excited to announce a unique opportunity for coaches who are passionate about expanding their expertise and contributing to the growth of sitting volleyball in Ontario. As part of our commitment to developing a strong foundation for this discipline, we are hosting a one-day coach training session focused on sitting volleyball, aimed at building a pool of coaches able to support the growth of the discipline and of a provincial team pathway in Ontario.

Time: 9:00AM to 4:00PM (the official schedule will be released shortly)
Location: Variety Village, located at 3701 Danforth Ave, Scarborough, ON M1N 2G2
Lead Trainer: Nicole Ban, Head Coach of the Women's Sitting National Team

This specialized training session is designed for coaches interested in learning about sitting volleyball and playing a key role in its development within Ontario. It offers a fantastic opportunity not only to enhance your coaching skills but also to contribute to a sport that fosters inclusivity and competitiveness among athletes with disabilities. We believe this training session will pave the way for enhanced sitting volleyball programming at the provincial level and create a pathway for athletes to join the national team.

We have a maximum of 10 spots available. If you are interested in joining this groundbreaking event, please complete the application form. If we have over 10 applications, we will invite those with the most relevant sitting experience and prior coach training. If the demand is high, we will make sure to offer more of these training opportunities in the future.
