The Canadian Men's National team has earned their berth to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games at the FIVB Olympic Qualifier tournament, held from September 30 to October 9 in China. With a sweep over Mexico in their last game, combined with Belgium's loss that day, Canada finished second in Pool C and successfully punched their ticket to the Games. Poland finished first in the pool.
Canada finished the tournament with a 5-2 record, the losses coming at the hands of Poland and Belgium.
In their final match, Ontarians Stephen Maar, Danny Demyanenko and Arthur Szwarc placed high on the board for Canada with 12 and 9 points respectively (9 each for the Szwarc and Demyanenko). Maar had an exceptional run in the Qualifier, finishing as the tournament's fourth Best Attacker with and fifth Best Scorer, tabbing 99 and 121 respectively.
Teams that also earned berths to the Olympics were Germany and Brazil (Pool A) and USA and Japan (Pool B).
