Job Opportunity: Manager, Member Services - Volleyball Canada

Volleyball Canada (VC) is a not-for-profit organization that provides leadership and oversees the development of volleyball in Canada. During peak periods, the office is a fast-paced environment where multiple projects with varying deadlines/timelines must be completed simultaneously. This position will provide support and assistance in a variety of areas surrounding Volleyball Canada and it’s PTA members. This position will lead and guide the implementation and coordination of the Registration System (VRS) as well as the Learning Management System (LMS). A strong set of communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a positive attitude are definite assets. Work is to be completed independently with general supervision. This position reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer. 

Term: This is a full-time position. Anticipated start date is ASAP.
 Salary: Will be dependent on experience and qualifications.

Key Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact with the VRS system provider in managing system issues and enhancements and consolidates such activities on behalf of all VRS stakeholders.
  • Manage all event registrations for VC departments, including but not limited to National Championships (indoor and beach), Beach National Team program registrations, Indoor National Team NEP/REP program registrations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with the LMS system provider in managing system issues and enhancements and consolidates such activities on behalf of all VRS stakeholders.

Qualifications/Expertise

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Project Management, technology, business, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years working experience and knowledge with registration systems, learning management systems or CRM.
  • 5+ years experience working in participant administration or management.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with various stakeholders and building strong relationships.
  • Project management or systems implementation experience is an asset.
  • The ability to work independently demonstrating good judgment in a fast-paced environment with many priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze and provide technical solutions for improvements and administration of VRS and LMS.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to lead/work within a team environment.
  • Ability to be consistent in the delivery of service to stakeholders.
  • Computer literate as work is largely computer based. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, the Internet and social media outlets.
  • IT experience with system administration is considered an asset.
  • Valid Canadian Drivers License.
  • Bilingualism - French and English (spoken and written) – is an asset.
