OVA Looking for Social Media Crew for 2023 Ontario Championships

The Ontario Championships is the largest volleyball event of the year and it's going to take a lot of effort to make it the best one yet!

For the first time in the history of the OVA, we are thrilled to be hosting the Ontario Championships at Enercare Centre in Toronto! This 56-court facility will be hosting the largest youth amateur volleyball event in the province and one of Canada's premier sporting events.

The Social Media Crew for the 2023 Ontario Championships will be tasked with capturing the moments and excitement of the event along with collecting digital assets for the OVA media library.

Social Media Crew

Supervisor’s Title: Dylan Brennand, Digital Communications Coordinator
Location: Enercare Centre (100 Princes' Blvd, Toronto, ON)
Position Level: Contract
Contract Term: April 20, 2023 to April 25, 2023
Compensation: $175/per shift
Closing Date: Until positions filled

Responsibilities

  • Take photo and video of the volleyball action and stations within the Enercare Centre. This includes the award/medal presentations, vendor hall and gallery areas.
  • Publish up-to-date content across the OVA social media platforms to keep our members in pace with the Championships.

Requirements

  • Photography/videography skills a must.
  • Be able to work in a high-volume/quick turnaround environment.
  • Experience with social media publishing (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok).
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) an asset.
