OVA coaches can submit their applications to coach for Team Ontario programs in 2023. Team Ontario will be back in full force next summer with a full schedule of indoor and beach programs and will need coaches to help lead the way for the province's athletes.
Coaching for Team Ontario is a great opportunity for coaches to start or continue their pursuit of professional development by becoming involved in the OVA's high-performance pathway.
Team Ontario is looking for coaches for the following programs:
- Team Ontario Regional Program (Integrated)
- Tall Maples (Integrated)
- Team Ontario White (Indoor)
- Team Ontario Red (Indoor)
- Team Ontario Black (Indoor)
- Team Ontario Beach
- Team Ontario Beach Fulltime Training Group (FTG)
Requirements
Coaches interested in applying for Team Ontario must meet the following criteria:
- Be a member in good standing in the OVA and Volleyball Canada.
- Have a valid Police Check and a complete Screening Disclosure Form.
- Completion of these coaching modules:
- Foundations of Volleyball
- Making Ethical Decisions Online Evaluation
- Making Head Way
- Safe Sport Training (Coaching Association of Canada)
Coaches have until November 6, 2022 to submit their applications. Applications can filled out through the attached Formstack link.
