Description

The University of Toronto Mississauga is seeking a volunteer Coach for the Tri-Campus Women’s Volleyball team. The Coach will lead teams though one practice per week on the UTM campus and attend all scheduled games throughout the season (up to 9 total), between the three UofT campuses. The coach also maintains open and ongoing communication with their team throughout the semester. The volunteer will be a proven leader, motivator, and coach, committed to the development of our student athletes both on the court and in the classroom. The University of Toronto requires all those intending to be present on our three campuses or on premises owned or operated by the university, to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Qualifications

• Must be of good character, demonstrating high caliber of leadership, sportsmanship and coaching performance.
• Must have N.C.C.P Making Ethical Decisions certification & sport specific certifications (recommended).
• Must have previous coaching and playing experience in the sport at a competitive level.
• Have exceptional interpersonal communication skills, sound administrative skills, strong motivational abilities and a commitment to fair play.
