On September 14, the Government of Ontario released its regulations and guidance on the proof of vaccination requirement which was announced at the beginning of the month.

With the regulations released, the OVA will be hosting a virtual Town Hall on Monday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m.  to discuss and explain with the membership the Government requirements that will come into effect on September 22, 2021.

As per the original announcement on September 1, 2021 select venues are to require patrons to provide proof of their COVID-19 vaccination before entering the facility. The requirement is a full series of doses of the vaccine (two shots of any combination of authorized vaccines).  Individuals also must have received their final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before providing the proof of being fully vaccinated.

We invite the Ontario volleyball community to join us for this Town Hall as we gear up for the beginning of the youth competition indoor season. With further clarity on expectations and requirements, we hope to answer any of the questions that you may have.
