The 2021 OVA Beach Tour will be moving to full-day events starting on the July 31/August 1 weekend at select locations. The transition comes as the province entering Step 3 of the reopening strategy and from feedback of participants for a truer return to the Beach Tour event experience. As the OVA is anticipating a two-day Beach Ontario Championships at the end of August, the move to full-day events will better prepare players for the longer format that comes with our marquee events.

The shift to full-day events will mean:

  • Full brackets for playoffs and traditional OVA pool play formats.
  • No more tiers and timed matches
  • Player referees will be assigned
  • Medals for the top two teams in each division

Full-day events will be offered at the following locations beginning July 31/August 1: Barrie, Brampton, London, Milton, North Bay, Ottawa, Pickering and Windsor. Prices for the tournaments will be $95.00 plus HST per team.

Half-day formats (AM and PM waves) will still be offered at the following locations: Ancaster, Keswick, Kitchener and Markham.

No changes will be made to these registrations.
