The Government announced on April 1 that it will enact a Provincewide Emergency Brake, effectively pausing the current colour-coded framework and moving all Public Health Units (PHU) into shutdown. The switch will begin on Saturday, April 3 at 12:01 a.m. and will be in effect for 28 days.

The Emergency Brake will mean that no organized indoor and outdoor activity is allowed. Gathering indoors with individuals who live outside of your home is deemed illegal. While the outdoor gathering size limit stands at five (5) under this ruling, no sports training is permitted.

Clubs can contact their local Public Health Unit to see if there are any specific activities that may be permitted in their community/area. To find your local PHU, please click here.

Clubs are also encouraged to stay in contact with their local PHU during the Emergency Brake.
