The Ontario Referees Committee is proud to announce that the Local Level 1 Indoor Referee theory course is now available entirely online!  After months of hard work, feedback and review, candidates can now access the course for a simple fee of $20 + HST.

The course brings interactive learning to the referee content and can be done from the comfort of your own home and at your own pace.  No longer are candidates required to sit through hours of classroom lectures to learn the rules!  The course also provides a sneak peek into refereeing with no commitment required for becoming fully certified.

Once you’ve completed the theory course, candidates can attend a practical course to become certified as they become available in their area.  We hope to offer practical certification clinics in the fall as government regulations allow.

Please note that all candidates must 15 years old in order to complete the training.  Register at the following link and once your payment is processed, a private link for the course material will be emailed to you for access.

For those that don’t already have an MRS account, a free one can be created by selecting the “Volunteer” role to bypass any membership fees before registering for the actual online course.  For assistance with registration, please contact Kelvin Cheng kcheng@ontariovolleyball.org

We would also like to extend our thanks and appreciation to Brad Girardo, Ryan McDoom, Brittany Saunders and Kennedy Ramsden for all of their hard work and the countless hours they’ve put into bringing this content online to Easygenerator.  This would not have been possible without them!
