The OVA modified indoor league has returned and registration for the first wave of events is open! With communities across Ontario returning to Green through Orange classification and facilities willing to re-open their doors, the modified indoor leagues can resume.

Registration for the Provincial Wave events from April 3-23  closes on Monday, March 22 at 11:59 p.m.

At the start of 2021, the OVA implemented a modified indoor league to begin the first week of March with a February deadline. With the Government of Ontario extending the Lockdown period that began on Dec. 26 and enacting Stay-at-Home orders, the league was not capable of running at the time.

Please note that the indoor league is available to teams/individuals that are in the Green-Yellow-Orange zones only. If an athlete lives in a Red zone community - for instance - but plays on a team from a Green-Yellow-Orange region, they will not be able to take part in OVA league play.

If you are unsure which zone your local Public Health Unit falls under, visit this page which breaks down the restrictions and measures.

Registration links for the Provincial Wave age divisions can be accessed through MRS in the table below. Teams must be registered in MRS in order to participate. If you have not registered for MRS, you can do so here.

About the indoor league

The OVA modified indoor league is a standalone playing opportunity for clubs in the Prevent (Green) through Restrict (Orange) zones in the Government of Ontario's re-opening strategy.  Open to 11U-18U age divisions for boys and girls, the league aligns with OVA Return to Play protocols and Government of Ontario regulations.
