2020 has been a difficult year for everyone, including the Team Ontario athletes. No in-person training was held this past year, but the OVA is hopeful that some training will be possible for Team Ontario athletes in the Summer of 2021. As per OVA policies, we must go through a formal RFP process to select the venue that will potentially host our training camp.

The OVA is interested in confirming a venue for the Team Ontario Elite training camp in July 2021 by January/February 2021. Venues interested may submit a copy of the Bid along with a completed Hosting Application form by January 18, 2021. It is imperative that the Bidder conforms to this timeline.

Program: Team Ontario Elite (18U)

Number of players: 32 girls and 32 boys

Number of coaches/staff: 16

Dates: July 4-17, 2021

Accommodations: The facility must be able to host 80 people for 14 nights.

Food: The facility must be able to accommodate three (3) meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) with healthy food choices.

Training: The facility must have a minimum of 2 volleyball courts with at least 4m of space all around. The courts must be available at 7:00 a.m. each morning and remain open to the end of the training day.

Classrooms: Classrooms with a capacity of at minimum 30 people must be available for the teams to hold meetings.
