Thank you to everyone who attended the OVA Town Hall on Monday evening where we focused on information for OVA parents and athletes as we begin to look ahead to indoor volleyball while continuing to work through the pandemic. Topics from previous Town Halls were reintroduced into the conversation such as Return to Play protocols, Tryout Window modifications and the new Membership Registration System which is looking to launch September 14, 2020. For those who are just getting into volleyball or have only participated in beach volleyball, the discussion of 'why sign up for Club volleyball' was held in this Town Hall. To view this and the August 30 Town Hall, please visit and subscribe to our YouTube Channel.

New Town Halls added Through 2020

The OVA has scheduled six new Town Hall dates that will take us to the end of 2020. These added sessions have been planned to occur on a bi-weekly basis on Monday evenings. As developments from the Province could change rapidly, topics for these Town Halls have not been solidified.

This is where we want the OVA membership to provide their feedback on what they would like to be addressed in future Town Halls.

If you have any topics you would like covered or specific questions addressed (competitions, club, admin, coaching, return to play, indoor, beach, etc.), please let us know by sending your input/questions to info@ontariovolleyball.org with 'Town Hall questions' as the subject.

We look forward to answering your questions in future OVA Town Halls.

The OVA will also be hosting another Town Hall next Monday, September 14th at 7:00 p.m. to discuss  Coaching eligibility and Coach Development plans for Fall 2020.

This Town Hall will once again take place on Zoom. To register for this session, please click on the link below.

The OVA looks forward to continuing our safe approach to the return of play in our province.  We will continue to proceed in accordance with the Government of Ontario and its guidelines to ensure that the volleyball community is ready and prepared when the guidelines are released. Please continue to check the Ontario Volleyball and the OVA COVID-19 information hub for announcements.
