Return to Play - Indoor Volleyball RTP Updates: Version 2.0 Protocols

Thank you to everyone who attended the OVA Town Hall on Monday evening where we discussed the Indoor Volleyball Return to Play protocols - Version 2.0 which applies for Stage 3 communities and also touch on the Tryout Window Policy modifications. Grants to Support Non-Profits Impacted by COVID-19

Below are two grants that can help non-profit organizations who have been impacted through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Red Cross Canada

The Canadian Red Cross is making grants available to non-profits across Canada to support their direct service delivery to those who are most vulnerable to the health, social and economic impacts of COVID-19.

Deadline: August 31st, 2020.

For programming up to November 2020

Grant amount: $5000 up to $100,000

Resilient Communities Fund

The Resilient Communities Fund is a one-time fund to support the non-profit sector recover and rebuild from the impacts emerging from COVID-19 so they can effectively meet the needs of communities across Ontario.

Deadline: September 2, 2020 at 5 p.m. ET. and December 2, 2020 at 5 p.m. ET. 

Funding amount: $5,000 to $150,000

The OVA will also be hosting another Town Hall next Monday, August 17th at 7:00 to discuss  Club Administration procedures for the 2020-21 season during the COVID-19 pandemic .
