This year, the OVA will be electing Regional (RRC) and Beach Referees Chairs (BRC). Because of the current situation with the COVID-19, it was decided that the elections would be held earlier following the updated timeline below:

April 1 – announcement of RRC and BRC elections

April 30 – last day to submit nominations

May 15 – last day for election(s), if necessary

To submit a nomination, please email Kelvin Cheng kcheng@ontariovolleyball.org with the name of your nomination and the position that you are nominating them for. 

These positions are currently held by:

Region 1: Al Tkachuk (East) & Tony Curciarello (West)

Region 2: Brian Rancourt

Region 3: Samara Sevor

Region 4: Lynn Watkins

Region 5: Jennifer Adams

Region 6: Erick Mompoint

Beach: John Gillis

As noted, should elections be necessary, they will take by place by May 15th. All referees rated Level 2 or higher will be eligible to vote for their RRC. All beach referees that were registered last year will be eligible to vote for the BRC.
