TORONTO, ON (October 3, 2019) - The Regional Excellence Program – Toronto East Volleyball Canada's Regional Excellence Program (VC REP - Toronto East) at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre (TPASC) exists to provide qualified athletes with an all-round training experience. The program will give athletes the opportunity to train and excel in the sport of volleyball.

Unique to this specific program is the high level of collaborative coaching staff consisting of NCCP certified Lead coaches assisted by coaches from several different OVA clubs.

Coaches will involve the athletes in challenging drills involving cue treading and skill execution that are game relevant.

14U - Train to Train (Stream 1) – Develop the physical capacities and volleyball skills of current 14U athletes. Our focus is on teaching efficient motor patterns and skill mechanics to enhance an athlete's performance level.
This process will help develop the athletes to be able to pursue their goal of making a Regional team to compete in the 2020 Ontario summer Games.

15U/16U - Learn to Compete (Stream 2) – Consolidate existing volleyball skills and develop tactical abilities.
This group of athletes will be working towards their goal of being selected for the OVA – High Performance (HPC) summer program.
