We're excited to announce that the first ever OVA Coach Development Week will take place from September 7-12, 2019.  A wide range of professional development opportunities will be offered to OVA coaches before tryouts in order for them to prepare for their season.
Coming your way during the OVA Coach Development Week are two coaching symposiums, two season planning workshops, discounted workshops & eLearning modules, coaching webinars and a contest to win a $50 Canuck Stuff gift card!

Find the development opportunity that is right for you below.

Coaching Symposium & Seasonal Planning Workshop

Two coaching symposiums will be offered in which a variety of topics will be covered by experienced coaches to help you prepare for the upcoming season:

  • September 7th at Durham College
  • September 8th at Fanshawe College

We recommend the symposium for coaches who have already taken the Development or the Advanced Development Workshops.  For those that haven’t, we recommend you take the workshops at their discounted price as they are part of the mandatory requirements of the 2019-20 Coach Certification Policy.
