The video below explores how the Durham Attack Volleyball Club are using Smashball as the foundation of their Parent and Player program to develop young athletes, train new/young coaches, actively engage parents and invest in the long-term development of their club through diverse programming.

The Parents & Players  - Learn to Play Program (P&P) is a two-year pilot funded by the OVA and the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport. It aims at providing parents and kids with a unique and inspirational first engagement to the sport.

We have recently started sharing updates to our pilot grassroots programs in an effort for participating programs and the volleyball community on a whole, to benefit from the lessons learnt from delivering youth volleyball programs in Ontario communities.

One of the unique outcomes of this pilot is that parents of children between the ages of 3-5 years old are increasingly becoming attracted to the sport of volleyball and includes children from families who have a history of volleyball participation and ones that have never engaged in our sport.

The video below explores how the Durham Attack Volleyball Club are using Smashball as the foundation of their Parent and Player program to develop young athletes, train new/young coaches, actively engage parents and invest in the long-term development of their club through diverse programming.

A special thank you to the Durham Attack Volleyball Club for sharing their experiences with us.
