Spikes is a developmental volleyball program that is specifically designed for elementary students. It is not volleyball in the familiar sense, but rather an approach to teaching volleyball and the related motor skills, which are transferable to other physical activities. The program consists of motor skill development exercises, pre-skill activities and modified games, presented in a volleyball setting.
Why participate in Spikes?
- IT IS FUN FOR EVERYONE ! ! ! How does the program work? Spikes is delivered directly to elementary schools across the province by the OVA trained clinicians. Please note that there is a fee of:
For this fee the school receives the Spikes Clinic, a copy of the OVA Elementary School Lesson Plans, a new MIKASA developmental volleyball and a 15-20 minute mini-workshop for school leaders.
