Accessing our Online Registration
Do I have to register and pay with a credit card?
Yes. There is no other option available to register with the OVA.
If I was registered last year, how do I register?
Go to the OVA registration page and enter your login and password.
What do I do if I forget or do not know my login and/or password?
Click on "Online Registration - Membership, Tournaments & Events " on the OVA home page. In the "Existing OVA members" box, select "Did you forget or don't have your Member Login and/or Password".
How do I begin registering if I am a "New Member"?
Click on “Non-Members" located under "This is my first time registering with OVA online”.

Information We Collect and Email Questions
What information is required to complete the registration form?
The individual’s name, address & postal code, home telephone number, date of birth and a valid email address are required.
Is all the information on the registration form required?
Yes. All of this information is required; otherwise the individual will not be able to register online.
What is the purpose of the email address?
The email address is used for communication between the OVA and its members (i.e. OVA events, ADP programs, coaching clinics, registration deadlines, etc.). In addition, a valid email address is required to retrieve your log in and password.
If my mailing address or email address changes over the season, can I change it?
Yes, providing you have your log in and password. Simply click on "Online Registration - Membership, Tournaments & Events ", log in and click on "Edit My Personal Info" at the top of the page.

Problems During Registration
I am using Netscape Navigator/Communicator as my browser and experiencing difficulties, what should I do?
If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer, you will not experience any problems.
I am having difficulty navigating your website with my MAC computer, what should I do?
If you use a PC and Microsoft Internet Explorer, you will not experience any problems.
What do I do if "Please try again, the following errors occurred were encountered: The information you entered does not match our records." appears?
If this appears, this means one of the two pieces of information you have provided does not match the database. Please contact the

Am I able to stop in the middle of the registration process?
No. If you stop in the middle of the registration process (i.e. to answer the telephone), you will lose all of the information you have typed as there is a timing out security feature in the program.

Registration Forms & Waivers
Where do I access the individual registration form & waiver?
On the OVA website, in the "Resources" under "Registration".
Do I have to send any completed forms by mail or fax?
No. Faxed or written forms are no longer accepted.
If written forms are no longer accepted, what is the purpose of the form & waiver?
The registration form is necessary for Clubs to gather the required information in order to register your players and coaches online, insurance purposes but more importantly for acknowledgement and agreement to the OVA's Privacy Policy .
Are clubs responsible for keeping the forms after the individuals have been registered?
Yes. It is the Club’s responsibility to keep registration forms & waivers and proof of age for liability purposes. Therefore, the forms must be available to the OVA upon request.

Clubs and Club Contacts
Can there be more than one Club Contact?
No. There is only one Club Contact per club who is responsible for registering the club. Upon registration of the club, the Club Contact will create the club password.
What is the purpose opf the club password?
The club password is required by the Team Contact in order to register teams with your club.
What is the performance bond?
A new club registered with OVA is required to pay a $200 performance bond. The bond is in place should a club have any defaults, damage to facilities, outstanding debts, uniform violations, failures to line and score when scheduled, violation of the mandatory coaching certification policy or other fines and sanctions.
What if my club was registered last year?
If your Club was registered with the OVA last year, your performance bond on is file unless it was returned upon your request. Therefore, you are not required to submit a performance bond. If you are unsure contact the

Registering Teams (13U - 21U, Adult)
How do I register a team?
A Team Contact, using the Club password, has the ability to register a team, coaches, individual players and tournaments. A Club Contact may register as Team Contact.
Can a coach register a team?
No. Only if the Coach is registered as the Team Contact.
Can an individual register with a team?
No. Only the Team Contact has access to adding players to a team.
If a player played last year, do I have to type in their information?
No. You can simply search the database, confirm the player's city and postal code then click "Add Player".
If a coach was registered last year, do I have to type in their information?
No. You can simply search the database, confirm the coach's city and postal code then click "Select this Member".
How many players can I register?
The Team Contact is required to register a minimum of 8 players to register a team.
Can I register additional players?
Yes. A maximum of 15 players per team is permitted.
How do I register additional players?
The Team Contact simply logs in and clicks on the team name in the right hand side column under "My Registered Teams". Cursor down the page and select “Add more players to this team”.
If I incorrectly type in an individual’s information, can I change it?
No. Only the individual has access to changing their mailing and email address or telephone number(s). If there is an error in their name, please contact the

Can I register a team in two divisions?
Yes. As Team Contact you are able to register a team in two separate divisions. However, you must register the team in one division at a time.
Do I have to re-type the players information online when registering for the second division?
No. You are only required to type the information for new players. Currently registered players can be selected from the database.
Am I able to view my team roster?
Yes. As Team Contact, you have access to view your roster at anytime. Simply click on the desired team under "My Registered Teams" in the right hand column.
Am I able to print my roster?
Yes. As Team Contact you have the capability to print your team roster.
How do I delete a player from my roster?

. All requests to delete a player must be made in writing. Once a player is deleted from your roster they can not be re-added to your roster.
Can I transfer a player online?

Coaches and Team Staff
Am I able to register a Coach on my team?
Yes. As Team Contact, you are able to register a Coach when you initially register the team.
Am I able to register Assistant Coaches on my team?
Yes. As Team Contact, you are able to register Assistant Coaches (up to 5).
How do I register additional Assistant Coaches to my team?
The Team Contact simply logs in and clicks on the team name in the right hand side column under "My Registered Teams". Cursor down the page and select “Add an Assistant Coach to this team”.
How do I change the Head Coach for my team?

Deadlines - Team & Player
What is the deadline for registering teams?
Adult teams: To be determined
Youth - 13U - 19U teams: January 1, 2008 (11:59 PM)
Youth - 21U teams: February 24, 2008 (11:59 PM)
What is the deadline for registering players?
Team Contact can register players until Thursday February 1, 2008 (11:59 PM). Players must be registered before they are eligible to participate.

Registering / Withdrawing - Tournaments
How do I register for a tournament?
The Team Contact can register for tournaments when initially registering a team. Or after a team has been registered, the team contact simply logs back in and clicks on the team name in the right side column. Cursor down the page & click on ”Register for a Tournament”.
Can a team withdraw from a tournament?
Yes. Notification of withdrawal from a tournament must be made in writing from the Club or Team Contact to the
