Volleyball Canada is very please to announce that John-Paul Cody-Cox has been appointed as the new Executive Director of Volleyball Canada today. After a rather lengthy and in-depth search, the selection committee found Cody-Cox to be the best fit for the organization. John-Paul, the Marketing Director for Volleyball Canada had been filling in as Executive Director on an interim bases throughout the process.

With a wealth of Marketing and business background, Cody-Cox has held positions within the High-Tech field as well as Sport Canada before taking the Marketing job at Volleyball Canada in March of 2005. Since then he has been a driving force selling the National Teams, domestic programs and the organization.

John-Paul not only has the knowledge, hand-on approach and leadership qualities needed for a position like this but he has the passion to see the teams, programs and organization succeed and grow into a world volleyball power-house.

John-Paul will officially begin his leadership role immediately; and will still remain in charge of all marketing related issues for the association.
