Athletes will arrive and train as individuals. Teams will be randomly selected and announced prior to the tournament.
32 athletes per gender will be selected in 1 of 3 ways:
1. 2 players per gender to be nominated by region
2. 12 players per gender based on average OVA points
3. 8 players per gender to be nominated by the OVA
The following athletes have qualified for the OVA’s Learn to Compete Provincial Team and the opportunity to participate in the 2008 Ontario Summer Games.
The Learn to Compete Provincial Team is the second last stage in the OVA’s beach athlete development model. The objective of the program is to expose each athlete to a high performance training environment where the focus is on individual technical and tactical training.

Thursday, July 24th – Top 12 regional individuals will be announced (2 athletes/region).
