Ontario Volleyball does not administer recreational leagues.

Many existing community leagues throughout the province have become Recreational members of Ontario Volleyball. Similarly, Masters and Co-ed events, where they exist, are currently organized through local and community channels.

The Recreational Membership for the 2009/2010 volleyball season (September 1st 2009 - August 31, 2010) includes liability and sport insurance.  The registration fee is $100 for the league, $71 for the league contact and $11.00 per person.  Please be advised every player within the league must be registered in order for the insurance to be in effect.  The league also has access to OVA merchandise, publications and services.  Recreational members are not eligible to vote at Regional A.G.M.'s.  If your league requires a certificate of insurance, please contact the OVA Membership Services Administrator after registering.

If you are interested in joining a recreational league contact the Volleyball Links section of this web site, your Regional Adult Competitions Chair, your local community centre, or the Parks and Recreation Department. A further source for this type of information are local newspapers and, of course, word-of-mouth. Most leagues will run concurrently with the school year.
