Coaches Clinics

To become fully certified a coach must complete the Multi-sport module, Volleyball Course, and Portfolio and Evaluation components of a given level. The Volleyball Course and Portfolio and Evaluation components are managed by Ontario Volleyball.

The Multi-sport (Intro to Comp) component is managed by the CAC. For a listing of available Intro to Comp Courses, click here .

Level 1 Volleyball Course - Thunder Bay

Date: Friday May 23 & Saturday May 24, 2008
Location: Sir Winston Churchill Collegiate, 130 W Churchill Drive, Thunder Bay
Time: 6:00-9:00PM Friday & 9:00-4:00PM Saturday
Cost: $105 for OVA Members, $125 for Non-OVA Members

Level 1 Volleyball Course - Fergus

Date: Saturday, May 24th & Sunday, May 25th, 2008

Time: 9:00-5:00PM Both days
Cost: $110 for OVA Members, $130 for Non-OVA Members

Level 1 NCCP Technical Assessment Request

OVA offers an opportunity for coaches with many years of coaching experience to be assessed by an OVA Evaluator in your own practice setting rather than taking the NCCP Level 1 Volleyball Course.

Tired of waiting for a clinic to be held in your area? Don't want to travel to the next nearest one? Consider hosting a technical clinic! If you can get 12 coaches together that are interested in becoming certified and you have access to a facility, then you can host a technical clinic. Call your Regional Coaching Chair, or the OVA office for more information and requirements.
