Appealed Transfer Period:  July 1 to the date an indiviudal registers with an OVA Club

During this time period athletes who have not registered for the upcoming season may request an “Appealed Transfer”.

Athletes and parents must complete these steps:

1.  Email a request for an “Appealed Transfer” to the OVA, This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and copy the club they are presently registered with.

2.  Include in the email their request for an “Appealed Transfer”, their full name, address, telephone number, a valid email address and the name of their original club.  (Template available in the "Club Transfer Policy" or "Athlete Free Agency" sections on the OVA website.)

3.  Submit the $100.00 administration fee payment online via the OVA’s registration system.

4.  Pay by cheque a compensation fee of $150.00 to their original club prior to the Appealed Transfer being granted.

Paperwork and cheques will not be accepted in the OVA office. All “Appealed Transfer” requests must be completed online.

Athletes meeting the above requirements will be granted an "Appealed Transfer."
