Welcome to the 2007/2008 indoor volleyball season.
Please refer to the Provincial Indoor Competitions Manual for the details of membership fees, registration deadlines, tournament fees and other information regarding competitions.
Registration Notes
Each team is to be registered through the OVA online registration process, with payment by credit card. All the required fields of online registration must be completed in full, and each individual member must have an email address. In order to register, the Club must first identify a Club Contact to which a club password will be given to allow full registration. A Club Contact can also register as a Team Contact. The OVA office will distribute general news and information regarding Club administration to the registered Club Contact. Tournament information and schedules will be emailed to the registered Team Contact. The OVA Registrar must be notified in writing if there is a change of Club or Team Contact. Registered individuals will be able to go online to make a change of address.
Tournament Entries
Entry fees must be received via the online registration system by the tournament deadline (3 weeks for the the first tournament in each division, and the 6 weeks for the remainder of tournaments in each division).
NOTE: There are exceptions for some tournaments. Teams must pre-register for Cup and Ontario Open tournaments by submitting payment online.
Tournament Deadlines:
Entry deadlines remain the same as last season (6 weeks)*. Reminder there is a "Late Entry" period - teams have until Thursday, 11:59 PM after the Sunday Deadline to register. A $100 "late entry" fee will be charged in addition to the existing tournament entry fee. Please note the exceptions for some tournaments.
*This does not include the 21U division.
Team Deadlines:
All teams, 13U - 19U must be registered online by Tuesday January 1st, 2008 by 11:59 PM to be eligible for the Ontario and Volleyball Canada Open Championships. The registration deadline for 21U teams is Sunday February 24th, 2008 by 11:59 PM. 21U teams must be registered with the OVA at least 3 weeks prior to their first tournament, and by Sunday February 24th, 2008 by11:59 PM (at the latest) to be eligible to partcipate in the 2007-2008 Indoor Season.

Players can be added up to the Friday before a tournament, to be eligible for that tournament, but the final date that players can be added to the team roster is February 1st, 2008 by 11:59 PM.
For Clubs that have more than one team in an age category, final lateral movement of players must be documented prior to the last tournament before the Ontario Championships. The roster for the final Cup tournament will be the roster for the Ontario Championships and National Championship or Open. For Ontario Championships, the entry fee must be submitted online at least 6 weeks prior to the Championships. All youth teams except 21U* must be registered by January 1st, 2008 (11:59PM).
*The 21U team registration deadline is 3 weeks prior to the tournament.
Individual athletes can be added to existing teams up to 11:59PM on February 1st, 2008.
