For 2008-2009 season, Youth Competitions is designed for athletes under 21 years of age. Youth Competitions runs through the Ontario Vollebyall system. There are 8 divisions of play:

21 & Under (21U) - born 1988 or later  – net height: 2.24 m (F) & 2.43 m (M)
18 & Under (18U) - born 1991 or later  – net height: 2.24 m (F) & 2.43 m (M)
17 & Under (17U) - born 1992 or later  -  net height: 2.24 m (F) & 2.43 m (M)
16 & Under (16U) - born 1993 or later  – net height: 2.15 m (F) & 2.35 m (M)
15 & Under (15U) - born 1994 or later  – net height: 2.15 m (F) & 2.35 m (M)
14 & Under (14U) - born 1995 or later  – net height: 2.10 m (F) & 2.20 m (M)
13 & Under (13U) - born 1996 or later  – net height: 2.10 m (F) & 2.20 m (M)
SPIKES Jamborees - born 1997 or later  – net height: 1.83 m  (co-ed)

The competitive season runs from November through April, with Volleyball Canada Opens in early May.
