October's TeamSnap Coach of the Month is Tania Admans

Wednesday, November 2, 2016

We are proud to announce that Tania Admans of the London Sharks Volleyball Club has been awarded the TeamSnap Coach of the Month for October! Tania will be rewarded with six months of TeamSnap’s best plan for free, a $108 value!

Tania is the coach of the Great White Sharks 15U Girls. Her nominator says:

"Coach T is starting her third season as coach of this London Sharks girls team. Her dedication to the team and its players is inspiring. She spends individual time with each of the girls mentoring them and fostering their growth into complete volleyball players. She runs them through custom drills, game theory, speed/agility/quickness workouts, and strength training to ensure that they grow into well-rounded and productive members of the Sharks and the volleyball community. No practice is the same as the last. You can tell the girls thrive on the variety and learn more because they are always engaged mentally as well as physically. She is available to answer their questions, talk them through problems, and support them at any hour. She may be hard on them when required but is always fair. They definitely appreciate her consistency and dedication and it shows in the effort they put in to every practice and game. It is amazing to watch them transform under her watchful eye. They and the club are lucky to have Coach T at the helm. Coach T insists on a team-first philosophy and encourages her players to work out any issues as a group so that the team as a whole remains strong. The girls have excellent conflict resolution skills as a result. They are not afraid to call each other out if someone is not paying attention during a drill or help each other out when one player’s weakness matches another’s strength. She demands the highest standard of sportsmanship and is more concerned by the quality of play than the result. She would rather see the girls challenge themselves and learn from a loss than run rampant over weaker teams. Not only is she teaching them volleyball skills but, arguably far more important, life skills. I'm sure there are many coaches in the OVA deserving of this award. Everyone volunteers their time to grow their team into the best version of itself. If every coach is even half as dedicated to their team as Coach T is to her Sharks this will be a tremendous season and all these kids will become great volleyball players and human beings."

Congratulations Tania and thanks for everything you do!
