In order for athletes to participate in the RTTC and OSG's, they must attend a Regional Tryout and be one of the 12 athletes selected to represent the Region. Regions with multiple teams may split the teams anyway they wish.

Regions get to choose teams as follows:

Region 1: 1 male - 1 female team
Region 2: 1 male - 1 female team
Region 3: 2 male - 2 female teams
Region 4: 1 male - 2 female teams
Region 5: 2 male - 2 female teams
Region 6: 1 male - 2 female teams

 REGIONAL TEAM TRYOUTSSATURDAY JUNE 7TH 2008 (FEMALE) AND SUNDAY JUNE 8TH 2008 (MALE)COLLEGE BOREAL21 LASALLE BOULEVARDSAUDBURY, ONTARIO
P3A 6B18:30AM TO 5:00PM  Athletes born in 1992 or later are eligible to participate in the 2008 16U Program.All interested athletes must attend this selection process to be considered for the U16 team.   These selected teams will participate in the Regional Team Training Centre, which runs from Monday, July 14 to Thursday, July 17, 2008 (male) AND Monday July 21 to Thursday July 24, 2008 (female) at the Humber College

The 2008 Ontario Summer Games will be hosted at Ottawa University, Ottawa from August 13th-16th 2008

 

Fee: $35 payable to Region 2 OVA   Items needed: Athletes are required to bring: court/indoor shoes, shorts, t-shirts, knee pad (own                preference) water bottleNOTE: ATHLETES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN MEALS. Please note that Region 2 and College Boreal are not responsible for any lost or stolen articles.Please leave valuable items at home.  Items left unattended are the athlete’s responsibility.
