Beach Provincial Team Camp Coach & Chaperone

The Beach Provincial team is looking for a developing beach coach to work as an assistant coach at Provincial Team training camps throughout the summer. The intention of this opportunity is to provide a coach outside of the GTA an opportunity for coaching development with the National Beach Volleyball Practice Centre Ontario. The preferred candidate is outside of the GTA and the ideal candidate will have a strong interest in coaching development. Provincial team coaches will work in close collaboration with the National Team coach and the Beach Development coach as part of a coaching team. The selected coach will be provided with 2 nights of accommodation at each of these camps along with a small honorarium. 

Provincial Team camps will take place in Toronto at Ashbridges Bay. 

Camp Dates 

• Selection Camp: June 11-13
• Camp #1: June 23-25
• Camp #2: July 14-16
• Camp #3: July 28-30
• Camp #4: Aug 11-13
• Camp #5: Aug 24-26

• Assist in provincial team selections.
• Assistant coach during practice sessions at provincial team camps.
• Act as a chaperone to provincial team athletes also staying in accommodations.
• Work in consult with coaching team to monitor provincial team athletes while away from camps.
• Attend coaching debriefs with the coaching team. 

Desired Skills & Qualifications

•  NCCP Level 2 beach certification or demonstrated desire to work towards NCCP Level 2 beach certification
